  • 8 oz shell pasta
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the shell pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  2. Season steak bites with salt and black pepper.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and sear steak bites for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet and cover loosely.
  4. Reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing until fragrant.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Add cooked shell pasta to the sauce, mixing gently. If needed, adjust consistency with reserved pasta water.
