- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces sliced provolone cheese
- 2.25 ounces canned sliced black olives
- 16 ounces dried spaghetti
- 16 ounces marinara sauce
- Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, olive oil, parsley flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
- Form the mixture into 2-inch meatballs and place them on the baking sheet with space between each.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cut provolone cheese into circles and place atop each meatball after baking.
- Add a slice of black olive to each cheese circle for the 'pupil.'
- Return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions; heat marinara sauce separately.
- Combine spaghetti with marinara sauce and serve topped with eyeball meatballs.
