  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 medium yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat chicken breasts dry; season with garlic powder and black pepper.
  3. In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high and sear chicken for about 3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  4. Sauté sliced onions in the same skillet until softened (about 3-4 minutes).
  5. Stir in chicken broth, then mix in sour cream and onion soup until combined.
