  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp soy sauce or vinegar and sugar mix
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 12 oz biscuits (cut into quarters)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in ketchup, water, brown sugar, soy sauce or vinegar and sugar mix, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat; combine the meat mixture with quartered biscuits in a bowl.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 28-30 minutes or until golden brown.
