- 1 lb ground beef
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp soy sauce or vinegar and sugar mix
- 2 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 12 oz biscuits (cut into quarters)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with cooking spray.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in ketchup, water, brown sugar, soy sauce or vinegar and sugar mix, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat; combine the meat mixture with quartered biscuits in a bowl.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 28-30 minutes or until golden brown.
