  • 2 pounds rock cod fish
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup rice vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 2-inch piece fresh ginger
  • ½ cup chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade by blending honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic clove, and fresh ginger until smooth.
  2. Season the rock cod with salt and pepper, then pour most of the marinade over it (reserve some for later). Allow to marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the marinated fish for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Drizzle the reserved marinade over the cooked fish and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
