- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- ⅓ cup honey
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ½ cup rice vinegar
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 2-inch piece fresh ginger
- ½ cup chopped parsley (for garnish)
- Prepare the marinade by blending honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic clove, and fresh ginger until smooth.
- Season the rock cod with salt and pepper, then pour most of the marinade over it (reserve some for later). Allow to marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
