  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine granulated sugar, light corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg. Reserve 2 tablespoons of this mixture.
  3. Stir in chopped pecans until well coated with the filling.
