  • 1 x 320g (12 oz) Puff Pastry Sheet
  • Plain Flour (for dusting)
  • 1 Small Egg
  • Splash of Milk
  • Freshly Grated Parmesan
  • Sweet Smoked Paprika
  • Cayenne Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius (375 degrees Fahrenheit) and line two baking trays with parchment.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into star shapes using star-shaped cutters. Place them on the lined trays.
  3. Beat the egg with a splash of milk and brush the mixture over each star.
  4. Sprinkle one tray with grated Parmesan and the other with sweet smoked paprika and cayenne pepper evenly.
  5. Bake for about 8 minutes until golden brown and puffy.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
