  • 1 pound uncooked spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground turkey (or chicken/beef)
  • 2 (24 ounce) jars marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 8 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, ricotta, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente; drain.
  4. In a skillet, brown the ground turkey with chopped onion until cooked through. Add minced garlic and optional red pepper flakes; stir for one minute.
  5. Mix cooked meat with marinara sauce and combine with spaghetti.
  6. Layer half the pasta mixture in a baking dish, spread cheese mixture on top, then add remaining pasta.
  7. Top with mozzarella cheese and bake covered for 30 minutes. Remove foil and broil briefly until golden.
  8. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
