  • 5 garlic cloves (peeled)
  • 2 large onions (thinly sliced)
  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • ÂĽ cup apple vinegar
  • ÂĽ cup lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Korean chili flakes (adjust for heat preference)
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare chimichurri sauce by blending chopped roasted red peppers, parsley, garlic, apple vinegar, lemon juice, smoked paprika, chili flakes, and olive oil until smooth.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and add sliced onions. Cook for about 20 minutes until caramelized; then stir in balsamic vinegar and brown sugar.
  3. Mix softened butter with minced garlic and parsley to create garlic butter.
  4. Preheat the grill to 500°F and season the steaks with salt and pepper. Grill each side for about 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.
  5. Toast baguette slices brushed with olive oil in the oven at 400°F for about 1-2 minutes per side.
  6. Allow steaks to rest before slicing into thin strips. Assemble crostini by layering caramelized onions, garlic butter, steak slices, and chimichurri sauce on toasted bread.
