  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 1 jar vegan marshmallow creme (7 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 jar chocolate fudge sauce (11.25 oz)
  • 1 tub whipped topping (8 oz), thawed
  • 2 packets hot chocolate mix (¼ cup)
  • 1½ cups mini vegan marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions in a greased 9×13 inch baking pan. Bake and cool completely.
  2. Poke holes using a wooden spoon handle or chopstick about 1 inch apart across the cooled cake.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine vegan marshmallow creme and water; heat for 20 seconds, stir until smooth.
  4. Pour the marshmallow mixture over the cake, spreading evenly into the holes.
  5. Heat the chocolate fudge sauce as directed and spread it over the top of the cake.
  6. In a medium bowl, fold whipped topping with hot chocolate mix until well combined; spread over the cooled cake.
  7. Chill for at least an hour before serving; top with mini marshmallows and chocolate chips.
