  • 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (divided)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 tsp sesame oil, 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (for added heat)
  • For garnish: sesame seeds and sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and optional sesame oil; set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat; sauté broccoli for 3–4 minutes until tender; remove and set aside.
  3. Add remaining olive oil to the skillet; cook ground chicken with salt and pepper for 5–6 minutes until browned.
  4. Stir in minced garlic; cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour prepared sauce into the skillet with chicken; simmer for about 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Return broccoli to the skillet; toss everything gently to coat well.
