  • heavy cream as needed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, whole milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined; do not overmix.
  5. Carefully fold in diced peaches.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 55-60 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow the bread to cool for about 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, melted butter, finely diced peaches, vanilla extract, adding heavy cream as necessary for desired consistency.
  9. Once cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top of your Heavenly Peach Bread before serving.
