  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons seasoned salt
  • Vegetable or canola oil (for frying)

Instructions

  2. In a large bowl or zip-top bag, combine flour and seasoned salt thoroughly.
  3. If using eggs, dip each mushroom slice into beaten eggs before coating them in the flour mixture. For thinner breading, toss directly in flour.
  4. Fry coated mushrooms in batches until golden brown and crispy, approximately 3–5 minutes.
  5. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
