Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter version)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 packs ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ cup sliced green onions
  • ½ cup shredded carrots (optional, for crunch)
  • 1 soft-boiled egg, halved (for topping)
  • Sesame seeds & nori strips, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Add the sliced chicken and toss well to ensure it's fully coated. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes while preparing the sauce.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken strips to the skillet. Cook them for 5-6 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked through. Once done, set aside on a plate.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Once melted, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth while stirring constantly. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until smooth then remove from heat.
  4. Bring a pot of water to boil and cook ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain them once cooked and toss with sesame oil to prevent sticking.
  5. Divide cooked ramen noodles among serving bowls. Spoon generous amounts of creamy garlic sauce over each bowl of noodles. Top with fiery chicken strips, sliced green onions, shredded carrots if desired, and halves of soft-boiled eggs.
  6. Finish off by garnishing with sesame seeds and nori strips. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy every spicy bite!
