  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2–3 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the egg and mix until well combined.
  2. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually mix into wet ingredients to form a soft dough.
  3. Roll out half of the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about ¼-inch thick. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle cinnamon sugar filling evenly over it.
  4. Roll tightly into a log, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice chilled logs into rounds and place on parchment-lined baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Let cool before glazing with a mixture of powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract.
