  • 24 Hershey Kisses

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat room temperature butter with powdered sugar until fluffy. Mix in cherry juice and almond extract.
  2. Gradually incorporate flour and salt until dough reaches play-dough consistency; fold in chopped cherries.
  3. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll in granulated sugar, and chill for 20 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place cookie balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for about 10 minutes. Press a Hershey's Kiss into each cookie immediately after baking. Allow to cool before serving.
