  • 200g mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 150g fresh spinach
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 100g cheese (mozzarella or cheddar), grated
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add chopped mushrooms; cook until softened and moisture evaporates.
  4. Stir in fresh spinach and cook until wilted; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Remove from heat and mix in grated cheese and cream cheese until well combined.
  6. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface; cut into 24 squares.
  7. Place about one teaspoon of filling in each square's center; fold over and seal edges firmly.
  8. Brush tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  9. Arrange pastries on a parchment-lined baking sheet; bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
