  • 12 oz penne or fettuccine
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Cook until golden brown on both sides (6-7 minutes per side). Remove from skillet and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute). Stir in remaining Cajun seasoning and smoked paprika, then pour in heavy cream and chicken broth; bring to a simmer.
  4. Slice the cooked chicken into strips and add it along with the pasta to the sauce. Mix thoroughly while adding Parmesan cheese until melted.
