  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • Vegetable oil for spraying

Instructions

  1. Cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and add flour to create a roux, whisking for about 2 minutes.
  3. Gradually whisk in milk, stirring until smooth; add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens; remove from heat and mix in cheeses until melted.
