  • 1 cup + 6 tablespoons cold unsalted butter
  • 1½ cups apple butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¼ cup dark brown sugar
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla paste or extract
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pie crust by combining flour and salt in a food processor. Add cold butter and pulse until crumbly. Gradually add ice-cold water until dough forms. Chill for 1-2 hours.
  2. Roll out the chilled dough into a circle and fit it into a pie dish. Par-bake at 375°F for about 20 minutes.
  3. For the filling, whisk together apple butter, eggs, brown sugar, flour, vanilla, sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Pour filling into the cooled crust and bake for about 60 minutes at 375°F until set but slightly jiggly in the center. Cool completely before serving.
